I played with the settings, looked at the manual and searched on the web for answers but nothing. What I don’t understand and can’t figure is how to make these tracks show up on the map screen all the time without activating “Show On Map” for each track individually. I found out I can make each track(Active Log) show up on the map screen by selecting each one at the time and selecting “Show On Map”. The tracks are loaded into the gps64, when I go in Track Manager I see the list of tracks that are uploaded. Grab an ice cold beer, an Old Fashion, or a glass of wine (or all three) and watch as you Zumo XT data begins loading into Basecamp. Start Gamin Basecamp and close the dashboard window. Once I upload data to the GPS64 the selected maps and waypoints show up as I’d expect but the tracks don’t show up on the map screen of the gps. After the computer is up and running, RECONNECT the Zumo XT to the usb port. Transferring old data, obtained with the GPSmap60CS, from MapSource the old mapping program I used with the GPSmap60 to BaseCamp is compatible on the software. Uploading maps, waypoints and tracks(Active Log) to the GPSmap 64 from BaseCamp works. After getting customised to the 64 model, BaseCamp and adjusting the settings to my preference I still have one issue. I just upgraded my handheld gps to a Garmin GPSmap 64 from a GPSmap 60CS.
